Benidorm is situated on the popular Costa Blanca coastline, which lies to the south of Spain's east coast and borders the Mediterranean Sea. It is only approx. 40 km to Alicante and population are measured at approx.70,000 (2008).
Benidorm is one of the most famous resorts along this coastline, and visit the mass consists mainly of tourists from northern Europe. Here is a lush scenery and beaches with many facilities and nearby restaurants. The area has several amusement parks with themes from different parts of the world, water, land and marine life. Benidorm International Song Festival is a famous festival, singing competition held every summer.
Alicante Airport offers flights to many parts of Europe such as Bulgaria, Copenhagen and England.The airport is located approx. 60 km off Benidorm.
